– A short note on what GK statues are :
GK is an abbreviation for Garage Kits, also known as Resin Kits. They are usually referred to as an assembly of scale model kits using Polyurethane Resin. GK is used in the modeling of the figures, collectibles, models, status, etc. In most cases, they are used for Anime, Superheroes, Characters, or any other artworks. The production of GK figures and collectibles can be very time-consuming. The manufacturer/ artist will need to produce the mold and handmade each of the parts. This process includes fabrication, sanding, crafting, brushing, painting, and assembly of the parts. Due to all these factors, GK figures can be very expensive compared to their counterpart, PVC. Besides, due to the time required to produce a unit of the figure, most of the GK Figures are produced with a very limited number of units. The limited number of units has also contributed to the high price of GK Figures. For some of the popular figures, the price may
fetch up to a few thousand dollars per unit. Not to mention, most of the figures have appreciation values.
