Japantown Takes the World Stage in FOX Sports Feature!

While the FIFA World Cup tournament didn’t end the way we hoped with Japan’s recent hard-fought loss, the spirit, passion, and pride of San Francisco’s Japantown shone brighter than ever.

Before the final whistle blew, FOX Sports turned its global cameras on our neighborhood to highlight our community’s incredible cultural footprint, deep soccer roots, and unwavering support for the Samurai Blue. From the iconic Peace Pagoda to the vibrant energy of our local businesses, the feature beautifully captured the heartbeat of one of the nation’s last remaining Japantowns.
